Gongs in the Yurt: As Spring Unfolds

An evening of sound, rest and gentle renewal

Saturday 11th April, 6-7pm and 7:30-8:30pm

As April arrives, the days lengthen and the world begins to stir. There’s a sense of movement and possibility in the air - alongside a need for rest as we adjust to the changing season. Join Lydia from Creatively Curious Therapy for an evening of gongs in the yurt. Inside the softly held space, you’re invited to slow down and settle. Lying back among blankets and cushions, you can allow the sound to meet you gently, without effort or expectation.

The gongs move in spacious, flowing waves, supporting the body to release tension and the nervous system to find balance. This is a time to pause, to listen inward, and to make space for what’s emerging at your own pace. This session offers a quiet anchor in early spring: a place to rest, reset, and reconnect with yourself as the season unfolds. You’ll leave feeling calmer, clearer, and quietly refreshed.

There are two sessions to select from on this evening, join us for whichever suits you. For an extra special evening of rest, you would be most welcome to join us for both with a restful space in between.

What to Bring

Cosy layers, blankets, cushions or pillows - anything that helps you feel comfortable and supported. Yoga mats and bolsters are provided. You’ll be lying or sitting for around 60 minutes, so please think comfort: bring extra padding, a thicker mat, or even an airbed, folding recliner, or sun lounger if you prefer. You’re also welcome to bring and sit on a camping or folding chair.

An eye mask to help you further switch off. Water to drink at the conclusion of the session.

If you need any additional consideration to fully take part, please let Lydia know - your comfort and inclusion are important.

Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can make the most of our hour together!
