Our Pilates Team is Growing - to celebrate, try a class in June for just £6
Let's hear it for Pilates...
Joseph Pilates developed a range of postural exercises in the 1920s, to build abdominal strength and body control.
Over the years Pilates has developed into an array of classes from cardio Pilates, mat based, reformer classes and many more styles.
Here at Let's Retreat our classes focus on the 6 main principles: concentration, control, centring, flow, precision and breathing.
The benefits of regular practice improves flexibility, increases muscle strength, particularly of your abdominals, lower back hips and buttocks (core muscles).
We are excited to share that we now have five weekly Pilates classes for you to choose from, taught by three different teachers.
You can try any of these Pilates classes with a 50% discount during June - just use the code 50Pilates when you book via Classfit.
All our classes are open to everyone, no matter what your ability is, as you'll be given lots of options and you can choose where to work in class as you progress.
Classes are capped at 10 people and we have all the equipment you'll need, you just need to bring a water bottle!

Meet Dani
Pilates, Wednesdays at 11am-12pm
I am a qualified Mat & Reformer Pilates teacher, with a background in dance.
Movement has always been a huge part of my life, and Pilates felt like a natural next step - something that beautifully blends strength, control, and flow.
In my classes, I combine classical Pilates principles with modern movement to create sessions that feel both grounded and fresh. I am passionate about creating a kind, welcoming space that’s inclusive of all ages, bodies, and backgrounds - where everyone feels safe to explore, grow, and enjoy moving their bodies, whether you're completely new to Pilates or already on your journey.
I truly believe movement should feel good, and I love helping people discover just how empowering and joyful it can be.

Men Only Pilates, Wednesdays at 6-7pm
Pilates, Thursdays at 6-7pm
A Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor with a passion for helping people move well, feel stronger and reconnect with their bodies through mindful movement, I am a lifelong weekend warrior!
My own experience of back injury and the physical demands of decades spent at a desk has led me to discover the transformative benefits of Pilates. What began as a way to get moving and improve posture soon became a deeply rewarding practice that reshaped both my wellbeing and outlook on life.
Inspired by the positive impact Pilates had on my own body and mind, and a moment of true clarity during a cacao ceremony, I made the decision to step away from a long career in the television industry to join my wife, Sim, in the world of wellbeing. She also teaches at the yurts!
I teach Pilates to help people move with greater ease, continue enjoying the activities they love and enhance their sporting edge through mindful, functional movement. Through my teaching, I hope to share the strength, confidence, balance, and renewed sense of possibility that Pilates can bring to everyday life and everyday people.

Elevate - Dynamic Pilates, Saturdays at 8-9am
Loving all things movement, after a long relationship with dance and performing professionally across Australia I decided to add Pilates to the mix and I haven’t looked back since. I’m a passionate instructor and dog mum and have recently moved to the UK with my partner.
Mat and Reformer qualified for over five years, since building a beautiful online class, filming class after class to reach a worldwide audience.
My classes combine challenging coordination with supportive guidance to help you achieve your best. My mantra is that all movement matters, so be proud of yourself for showing up today. Expect spicy flows, a few too many laughs and a class that will (hopefully) leave you feeling happy you chose to move your body today!
And, if yoga is more your thing, take a look at our Summer Beginners Yoga Course.
